Newcastle Methodist Church, decorated for harvest

Harvest season is upon us already, a time to remind ourselves that our food ought not to be taken for granted and that Jesus calls us to work for the eternal harvest. If you haven’t worshipped with us recently, these services will be great opportunities to revisit our congregations at Dundrum, Newcastle and Downpatrick. The churches themselves will be decorated with some of the fruit and flowers of the land, and each evening service will be followed by supper. You will be among friends and warmly welcomed.

Arrangements are as follows:

Dundrum – Sunday 18 September 2011 at 10.15am and 7.00pm (evening service with special speaker Rev. Fiona McCrea – Primacy Methodist, Bangor – and soloist Mrs. Margaret Taylor)
Downpatrick – Sunday 25 September 2011 at 11.30am and 7.00pm (evening service with special speaker Rev. Harry Robinson – Downpatrick Presbyterian)
Newcastle – Sunday 2 October 2011 at 11.30am and 7.00pm (evening service with special speaker Rev. Barry Reid – Newcastle Presbyterian – and music from the circuit praise group)
