The churches in the Newcastle area join together for a special gathering most months when there are five Sundays, drawn together to worship Jesus and offer Him to our friends and family.

This July things are a little bit different – instead of meeting in the evening we’ll gather at 3.45pm in Castlewellan Forest Park for worship and speaker Paul Bowman. Following that there’ll be the opportunity to eat together on the slopes of the hill beside the lake – bring a picnic or some meat and we’ll provide the fire to BBQ it!

The venue is the marquee kindly offered by Castlewellan Holiday Week, a week of Bible study, worship, leisure activities and connection with God. You can find it at the top of the hill near the Castle. Please use the Forestry Car Park (£4.40) if you can walk to the tent as there’s limited parking beside it. And please feel free to stay on for the evening, including a concert given by Glengormley Methodist Youth Choir (£6 entrance).
